Bob's A Water Ski Dude!

Happy Terrific Tuesday!

I can't believe it's the end of June already! Wow that just flew by. It's Tuesday so that means it my turn to show what I made on the High Hopes Stamps blog! I have been so inspired by my fellow Design Team friends with all their "scene" cards that I decided to try to do one myself. I am sharing with you a stair step card I made using Bob's A Water Ski Dude
To make this stair step card I followed a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. I coloured Bob with my Copics and then fussy cut around the image. I made the waves with a tear away type of ruler I have had for ages and then inked the edges with white pigment ink to make the waves look like they have white caps. Then I got out my trusty Cricut machine that I never use and cut out the palm trees and fish to add to my scene. I altered the sentiment stamp from Sentiment set #4, and masked out the "Surfing" as Bob is water skiing. Using some clear acetate I made 2 of the fish look like they are jumping out of the water behind Bob. I dug through my stash and found the shell and starfish stickers and I think they just completed my little scene!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Glasses: C5, glossy accents
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37

Water ski: G03, G05, G07, Y13, Y15, Y17

Group Hug!

Happy Saturday!
Wow it's Saturday again and that means it's my turn to post a card over at One Crazy Stamper! Today I decided to use the Art Impressions Girlfriends 2015 Bench set. I love this image and every time I see it it screams Christmas to me.

I decided to use designer papers from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day collection that I had in my stash from last year. I love the colour combination of the minty green and red in this 6x6 paper pad. I fussy cut the image out and added it to my card with foam squares for some dimension. This time I used Crystal Stickles to add my bling! I love all things that glitter, maybe I was a glitter fairy in a former life LOL!

On the inside I layered a sentiment that I cut out from the paper pad.

 Copics used:
Skin: E00, E11
Hair: E43, E44, E47, E49
Reds: R24, R27, R29
Mint: BG23, BG34
Beige: E30, E31, E33
Greens: G03, G05, G07
Greys: C1, C3, C5

Hobby Lobby Blog Hop!

Hobby Lobby Blog Hop
What a fun and exciting day today is! Art Impressions is having a blog hop with Hobby Lobby

you should have arrived here from the
Art Impressions Blog

I am using the new set called Live, Laugh, Love you can find exclusively at Hobby Lobby.

I decided to do a bit of a different take on the images. I stamped the girlfriends images and then fussy cut them out to fit within the windows of my window stamp. The window stamp (from High Hopes Stamps) is solid so I took my xacto knife and cut out the window panes and mounted it on a piece of designer paper. Then I glued the girls into each window. Using Distress ink I also inked the edges of all my papers from the Jellybean Soup Summer Red Raspberry Soup collection. Some polka dots with my white glaze pen, clear Wink of Stella, Twinkle Goose bump gems, a pink bow and a flat back pearl finish off the card! The sentiment also is included in the Live laugh Love set.

On the inside I used another sentiment that comes with the set and a border I made using the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 1 set.
