David's Paper Hearts!

Hi DDS Followers & Friends!
Look at this sweetie pie!!!! Meet "David's Paper Hearts" from the "Boy Crazy" Release over at Digi Doodle Studios! He is just so happy with his string of hearts and wants to share them with you!!
For my card I pulled out some old Valentine paper from my stash that I thought went well with my image. After I printed the digital image and coloured him in with my Copic Sketch markers, I cut him out with my Brother Cut N Scan machine! I popped him up in front of a heart circle die and added the some YNS gumdrops for a bit of dimension to my card. I triple layered my "love" die cut and offset it slightly. Then I cut another "love" out of adhesive foam and used it to pop up my image. Some White Gel Pen polka dots and Nuvo Drops on all the pink hearts finished off my card.
Copics Used:
Skin: E51, E11, E33, R20
Hair: E25, E27, E29

I decided to use papers form the Doodlebug Cream & Sugar 6x6 collection! I thought it was perfect to match the cute Bear in the teacup from the Valentine's Bear set! I added some enamel dots and Stickles to finish off my card!

Good Times!

Hello HH & OCS Peeps!!
Today I am sharing with you a card I created using the stamp called "Canoe Trip" by High Hopes Stamps. As kids we used to canoe a lot at the Cottage! We would canoe to our friends down the shore and then off we would all go paddling away. My Dad used to take us out in the canoe on really stormy days when the waves were huge. He would purposely tip the canoe and we had fun bringing it back to shore. We thought it was a game but He was teaching us how to handle that scenario.
I chose papers from the Carta Bella Fall Blessings 6x6 collection. I fussy cut out my image and added it to my base layers. I also inked all the edges of my papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Good Times"
Since I had the "Lg Tee Pee" stamp I thought I'd use it on the inside of my card. I typed the sentiment on my computer and added it to the card for a bit of fun!
Copics Used:
Skin: E53, E13, E15
Outfit: E95, E97, E99
Canoe & paddle: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47/ YR16, YR18, YR23, R37, YG13

Snow Friends!

Howdy DDS Fans!
Well....... Winter is still here so that means we still have snow here! When I saw this cute digital image from Digi Doodle Studios called "Lucia & Icelyn", it just reminded me of the fun times my Sister and I had building our own snowmen! I always secretly hoped they would come alive LOL!
After I printed my image on Copic Xpress-It paper I decided to cut around it with a heart die to represent my fond memories. I coloured the page with my Copic Sketch markers and used papers from the Doodlebug Polar Pals 6x6 collection. I added the sentiment using the  "Snow Wishes" digital sentiment set. I don't know why my camera doesn't pick up the glitter but trust me there are Stickles on all the mint green areas! I got a bit carried away with the ink splatters LOL but hey, they are fun to do!!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20

Coffee Please!

Hello Ai Fans!
This poor guy sure is all tangled up, but rest assured nothing that "a coffee" can't fix! This is the funny "Giraffe" set from the "Zoo Crew" over at Art Impressions!
I am using paper from the Doodlebug "At The Zoo" 6x6 collection. I cut a piece of the paper with a Stitched Border frame and added some enamel dots for a fun element to my card! I also inked all the edges of my paper with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. After I coloured the "Giraffe", I realized he was too tall to use a die cut shape around him for my A2 card size. So I pulled out my trusty Brother Cut N Scan and used the machine to "fussy Cut" around him. Now he it perfectly on my card!

Just Married!

Hello HH & OCS Fans!
Don't you love a good Wedding! There is something about seeing a Bride that just gives me a "warm & fuzzy" feeling! This is "Just Married" from High Hopes Stamps. Off the Happily Married couple goes to start their new life together!
I decided to use paper from the Simple Stories The Story of Us 6x6 collection! I love the blacks and golds in this collection. I used the HH "Love Never Fails" sentiment on the front along with a few YNS Gold Gumdrops. You can't tell in the picture but the light grey parts on the card are actually coloured with Wink of Stella's Silver glitter pen. The bride and her flowers have Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on them as well.
I used die cuts from the SS The Story of Us Bits & Pieces set on the inside.

Featured Designer!

Hi DDS Fans!
I am beyond excited and so honoured that Dina Gerner over at Digi Doodle Studios has made me a "Featured Designer".  She created this adorable likeness of me with this digital stamp called "Cheri's Story Time"! When I opened the email containing the news and stamp it brought tears to my eyes! She has captured all the things that are most important to me! My Granddaughter Jacqualine and my 3 fur babies, Ally, Buster and Stella! Although Hubby would joke and ask where is he LOL?
With the theme of the stamp being "story time",  immediately in my head I pictured reading a fairytale to Jacqualine. I knew the Echo Park Perfect Princess 6x6 collection would be perfect for my card! I used various papers form the collection and layered them with matching cardstock. It's hard to see but all the pink things have Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen added to them. A ribbon bow and some enamel dots finished off my card!
I used more papers from the "Perfect Princess" on the inside as well.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E55, E57, E59
Pinks: RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06
Blue Greens: BG13, BG15, BG32

Dina thank you so much for capturing me so well and all the most important things to me! I absolutely love the "Cheri's Story Time" stamp!!

Madge!

Hi Ai Fans!
Oh Poor "Madge" from Art Impressions! It sure looks like she's had a rough day and is at the end of her rope! There are days that I feel exactly like poor Madge and I am sure you all can relate LOL!
I made my card base from grey cardstock and added layers of paper from the BBP Miss Teagen Sue collection. A few coordinating enamel dots finished it all off!
I think the "Childproofed" sentiment just makes the whole card! I love the funny sentiments Art Impressions has!!

Elephant Slider!

Hi Ai Fans!
It's the 2nd week of the Ai "Anything Goes" Challenge! I decided to make an interactive card. They are just so much fun for the recipient and fun to make! This is the "Elephant Slider" set from Art Impressions. I made one card the "traditional" way using the Ai Slider die. It's so cute when you pull the ribbon as the little elephant runs to the cupcakes and a hidden message is revealed. Then I decided to use just the stamped images and create another card. That's what is great about this set as you can use it several different ways!
The slider sets come with the images, sentiments and dies to cut the images out with! All you need is the slider die to make assembly super easy!
My paper choice this time is from the Photoplay Party Boy & Party Girl collections. Super fun patterns and colours especially for birthdays!
As I mentioned, instead of making a "slider" I put the elephant on a Mini Action Wobble for a twist. Just as cute either way you use them!
