Diver Dan!

Happy Tuesday!
Hi everyone! I just got back yesterday from a warm and relaxing vacation in Aruba! I was inspired from my trip and our snorkeling excursion to make a card with the High Hopes Stamps image called "Diver Dan".
I thought  "Diver Dan" would look adorable as a Shaker card as he would look like he was under water! I tried a new product this time. It's called Masking Fluid. I stamped my image onto my Copic paper then using the fluid, filled the image in and let it totally dry. Then using some Distress paint in Picket Fence and a Heidi Swapp Color Shine spray on my craft mat I dragged the image through the wet paints. This made the white space behind my image take on a water look. Once the paint was dry you just use your fingers and peel off the dry masking fluid. Your image is left nice and white and then you are able to use your markers to colour it!

I put some Glossy Accents on Dan's mask and the little air bubble. I filled the shaker with Doodlebug sequins, some tiny clear seed beads and white glitter.
On the inside I used a word sticker from Heidi Swapp's No Limits Buzz Word collection.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, R11
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Tank, Hose & Flippers: T3, T5, T7
Watch: Y38
Mask: R24, R29

It's the beginning of a new month so don't forget that also means it's the start of a new Challenge over on the High Hopes Blog! The theme this month is "Anything Goes". All you have to do is make a project using a High Hopes Stamp to enter. If you don't have one, feel free to use our free digi. I hope to see your entry linked up! Good luck!

Happy Stamping
